EasyFax — The Fax Machine That Lives in Your Browser
EasyFax is our modern, passwordless web fax app — send faxes straight from the browser. Receiving is on the roadmap. No install, no numbers, no password to remember.

Fax is the odd workflow that never actually left. Healthcare, legal, government, and a surprising amount of B2B paperwork still expect a real transmission — not “email a PDF and hope it lands.” For most of that time the only answer has been a machine in a closet, a phone line, and a subscription to a cloud fax vendor.
EasyFax is our take on making that workflow feel like 2026 instead of 1998: a clean, browser-based fax app where you sign in without a password, send documents, and keep them in one place — with no install and no fax number to babysit. Receiving is on the roadmap; today it’s a send-first app.

What EasyFax is
EasyFax is a web fax app built by Whatever Works — a dark, modern interface designed around the fax workflow: send from the browser today, with receiving on the roadmap and document storage already in place.
No hardware to run and no phone line to keep live; it’s a tab you open for a minute and close.
Passwordless sign-in, not another password to forget
The first thing you notice is that there is no password. EasyFax signs you in with passwordless email verification: you enter your email, the app sends a one-time 6-digit code, and you’re in.

Why bother? A few of the usual reasons, done cleanly:
- No password to lose or reset. There is nothing to leak in a breach and nothing to rotate quarterly.
- One step to start. For a task as one-shot as sending a fax, a password is pure friction. A code you already have in your inbox is faster.
- Encrypted, secure sessions. Once you’re in, sessions are framed as a “Secure Access” experience — the trust is stated up front rather than buried in a terms page.
Try it in a guest workspace — no sign-up, no commitment
Not everyone wants to create an account to test one fax. EasyFax offers guest workspaces so you can jump straight in.

A guest session is a fully usable workspace — you can work through the fax flow immediately. The trade-off is honest and visible in the UI itself: guest data is temporary (up to 8 hours) and may be cleared at any time. If you’re doing real, recurring work, sign in with your email so your workspace and documents persist.
The full fax workflow, in one place
The app is organized around the whole job, not just “send a PDF.” Today it is send-first — inbound fax is on the roadmap — but the surrounding surfaces are already in place so receiving slots in cleanly when it lands:
- Compose & send — build a fax and get it out in seconds from the browser.
- Documents & storage — your faxes and files live in one place, so you’re not digging through email for the thing you faxed last month.
- History — a running record of what has gone out.
- Receive — on the roadmap; inbound faxes will land in the same workspace, not a separate machine.
The interface leans on a distinctive dark design system — deep background, pink-to-orange gradient accents, and a single clear call to action — which is part of why it reads “modern” rather than “enterprise fax portal.”
A multilingual, no-install experience
Everything above works in a browser tab on any device you already have. No client to download, no drivers, no phone line to keep live. The interface is also multilingual (English, 繁體中文, and 简体中文 are available in the language selector), which matters if your team or the people on the other end of the fax are not all working in the same language.
Who EasyFax is for
- Teams that fax occasionally and don’t want to pay a monthly plan to keep the option alive.
- Anyone who is tired of password walls around a five-minute task.
- People who want a clean, secure, browser-based fax surface that pairs with the rest of their stack — without renting a dedicated number today.
- Small businesses that want to stop paying a subscription tax on a workflow that only kicks in a few times a month.
If you need heavy compliance paperwork (a vendor-signed BAA, FedRAMP, HITRUST at enterprise scale), that is a specialist-vendor conversation — EasyFax is a modern, secure, everyday fax surface, and it doesn’t pretend to be a compliance appliance.
Bottom line
The fax is not going away, but the way you do it doesn’t have to. EasyFax is our answer to a dusty, subscription-tax workflow: a modern, passwordless web fax app where you can send from the browser (receiving on the roadmap), keep your documents and history in one place, and try it all in a no-signup guest workspace — no install, no numbers, and no password to remember.
It’s live now, and it’s the product we’d want on our own desk. Open it, sign in with the code in your inbox, and send a real document.
